Microwave on HIGH (100 percent power) 35-45 seconds stirring until well blended. Combine cereal, peanuts, and pretzels in a large bowl. Pour butter mixture over cereal mixture; toss well to coat. Line sheet pan with foil; spread mixture evenly across pan. Bake in 350⪚ F oven 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally. Cool. Sprinkle lightly with cayenne pepper if using.
