    Directions

    Turn broiler on Place butter, olive oil and garlic in large pot on medium high heat. saute 1-2 minutes. add bread and let saute for 5-6 minutes. add sausage and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes. add beer and saute for another 3-4 minutes. add bread, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes and plum tomatoes. heat through. add basil, stir in. remove pot from stove, add cheese on top and place in the broiler until melted. serve!5 links chilcken sausage, sliced/diced 8 slices whole wheat bread (old sturdy bread loaf: i.e. whole wheat sourdough)cubed 4 cloves garlic 2 tbs butter 3 tbs evoo 1/2 bottle light beer 1 14oz can tomato sauce 1 14.5oz can diced tomatoes 3 plum tomatoes, seeded and chopped 1 Bunch basil leaves, roughly shredded 1/2 c shredded mozzarella cheese 1/2 c shredded parmesan cheese
