Simplify matters by cutting them with scissors and letting them fall directly into the skillet. 1. Heat a 10-inch nonstick ovenproof skillet over medium-high heat. Add bacon and sauté until it begins to crisp, 3 to 5 minutes. Add onion and sauté until soft, about 5 minutes. 2. Whisk eggs, water, salt and pepper in a medium bowl. Add egg mixture and cheese to skillet; cook until eggs are set on bottom but top remains slightly runny, about 5 minutes. 3. Heat broiler to high.
